We tried to use more interesting and interactive way to demonstrate how AFM works. We build a hand held optical lever model (called AFM education kit) that allows people use this model to scan a nanostructure model. A powerful device, WiiTM-mote controller (NintendoTM) is used in the AFM education kit. Wiimote combines infrared camera, MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) acceleration sensors and Bluetooth connection. The motion of the AFM education kit is captured by Wiimote. Here two infrared light sources act as the reference and a wireless (Bluetooth) connection sends the signals to a notebook,</p>
