We need a tool for studying the behaviour of the sample material in nano level. The problem is the size of the tool is less than the size of the sample….SPM fulfil this scenario.

Wow, the tip is made up of atoms, amazing!
Actually, from the video it appears to be made of some thing considerably SMALLER than the atoms it is probing….maybe it’s really made up of subatomic particles, eh?
