Veeco Instruments SPM Conference and Users Meeting will focus on exciting new SPM applications and recent technology developments.
Oral presentations from leading researchers in both academia and industry will be complimented with a practical workshop and a poster competition with the opportunity to win probes to the value of £1,000.
The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in characterisation at the nanoscale or Scanning Probe Microscopy and will act as an open forum for exchange of ideas.
The main conference will take place from 9.30 to 16.00 on Wednesday October 20th with topics including biomaterials interfaces, tribology, electrical characterisation, nano-rheology disease detection and more. There will be a probes draw for delegates to win AFM probes.
There will be optional Practical Workshops starting at 13.30 on Tuesday October 19th. These will be beneficial for both new and experienced AFM researchers. The workshops provide the opportunity to discover tips and tricks to optimise instrument operation and learn how new modes can accelerate your research.
The Department of Pharmacy at University of Nottingham, has easy car access from the M1 and excellent rail connections.
