Event Description:

LOT will be holding a NanoInk
demonstration day on Thursday 11th November 2010 at our offices in Leatherhead,
Surrey. On the day there will be the NanoInk NLP 2000 lithography system being
demonstrated. There will be a NanoInk Product Specialist speaking in the morning
covering the new & exciting developments in the field of Dip Pen Nanolithography®
(DPN®). In the afternoon there will be demonstrations of the NLP 2000.

The NLP 2000 is a desktop nanofabrication system that is both simple to use
and readily affordable. Patterns of nano- to micro-sized features (as small
as 30 nanometres) may be created using a variety of materials from metal nanoparticles
to biomolecules. Researchers are able to rapidly design and create custom engineered
and functionalised surfaces using the proven technique of Dip Pen Nanolithography®
(DPN®) to transfer nanolitre or smaller amounts over a large, environmentally
controlled area.
